Art Inspired

Whether it be line art, kids art or the masters, art is a good starting place for inspiration.

I like the idea of having your child draw something but I'm not sure that the numerous space ships my boys draw would stand the test of tattoo time. Likewise with their names written in their own handwriting. Sentimental most certainly but not always beautiful.
You need to be really confident with your tattoo artist to attempt a copy of existing art, though the style could be emulated well.
Luckily the colours available today can make your body into a beautiful living canvas unlike the monochromatic colours of yesteryear.

Line drawings can be ideal for the small space you have left...they are clear and easy to see and the range is endless.
Sometimes the fun of getting inked is the search for that right piece more so than getting the ink itself.
